A study conducted by Dr Bliss Kaneshiro, an assistant professor at the School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, and Oregon State University professor Marie Harvey shows that fat women have more sex than their thin counterparts. The findings were based on data from the 2002 National Survey of Family Growth which studied the sexual behaviour of more than 7,000 women.

Dr Kaneshiro studied the relationship between body mass index and sexual behavior, including sexual orientation, age at first intercourse, number of partners, and frequency of intercourse.

The study refuted stereotype claim that overweight , obese fat women are more sexually active than thin women. The researchers concluded ninety-two percent of  fat women reported having  more sexual intercourse with a man, as opposed to 87 percent of women with a normal body mass index (BMI).

"Our analysis demonstrated that obese and overweight women do  differ significantly in some of the objective measures of sexual behavior as compared to women of normal weight," said lead researcher Bliss Kaneshiro. He went on to also state that these fat women were always looking for sex.
